Lovely small 19th century paintings. Both quaint rural settings painted in oil on board. One depicts an early thatched roof English cottage scene with figures on a bridge. The other is an early thatched roof barn with figures, look closely and a figure in a wagon is visible through the barn door. Both in lovely aged condition with crackling to the paintwork which is still quite vibrant.
